With a lengthy musical career spanning multiple countries from Europe to the United States, Anaïs de la Morandais is an accomplished musician and educator. She holds both a Master of Arts in choral conducting from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria and a Maîtrise of Musicology from the Université de Haute-Bretagne in Rennes, France.
Since 2005, I've conducted various choirs, and working with children and youth especially fascinates me. In this profession, I love working with people, coordinating large groups and exposing them to new kinds of music, but my emphasis is the educational part. Choir is my life work as I try to constantly combine the pleasure of singing with the personal satisfaction of progress individually and collectively.

As orchestra, choir is a social and educational activity that develops very positive life benefits like civic involvement and philanthropy, memory skills and academic success, confidence and better emotional management, self-discipline and punctuality. It is also a way to learn about different cultures.

My vision is to motivate a diverse youth population by helping them to discover the power of their own voice. I train my students to sing and work together to achieve a common artistic goal while also encouraging their inner creativity and giving them the tools to stage a musical show. Along with vocal exercises, they learn acting and improvisation to understand that performing high-quality music is a lifelong ambition and a process leading to rewarding artistic achievement.
